The Bible says, "…let us love not with words or tongue but with actions and in
truth" (1 John 3:18). Headwaters Covenant Church, one of Helena's newest
churches, is trying to do just that. Headwaters takes the last Sunday of every
month, and in place of having a regular church service, goes into the Helena
community to serve. The growing church has served many individuals and
organizations including the YWCA, God's Love, Helena Food Share, Big Brothers
Big Sisters, Montana Youth Homes, Prickly Pear Land Trust, The Red Cross,
Catholic Social Services, Montana Supporting Soldiers, Intermountain, and The
Friendship Center. The purpose isn't simply community service. Instead,
Headwaters members want to demonstrate God's love to people by serving them. The people at Headwaters have the goal of pursuing a faith in Jesus that is
